Portugal

Portugal is granting Temporary Protection Status for nationals of Ukraine and their family members, as well as citizens of other nationalities who prove to be relatives, spouses, or de facto partners of citizens of Ukrainian nationality.

In addition to this Status, you can also apply for asylum. In Portugal, LGBTI+ persons can apply for asylum due to the risk they face for their sexual orientation and/or gender identity. If you consider coming to Portugal, check the informations here.

Confirm with local organizations in the country where you are now, or with the Portuguese authorities, the best way to travel to Portugal.

For your safety, do not accept spontaneous rides or rides from structures and/or people you don’t know or have no reference to. Always travel with the knowledge of someone (family or friends) explaining itineraries and mode of transport (send pictures / information of car model / car license plates).
