Sofftpunk Art Exhibition & 7 yr bday! Launching March 11th, Sofftpunk’s first art exhibit featuring multiple original paintings lands at ILGA! By sharing this work, we’re celebrating not only one full year of Sofftpunk teaching art workshops with us at ILGA, but also their 7 year anniversary of being a full time artist! Come take in some of their recent paintings in person and enjoy some other launch day treats including;
Guided abstract art exercise: a short, explorative abstract art exercise designed to build line confidence and emphasises play in the creative process. Free to join – begins at 20:00H. If you miss the launch event, come by the exhibition throughout the month to take part in the guided exercise and add your response to our wall!
Vegan snacks: free for all, handmade by a talented vegan chef, right here in Lisbon!
Pop up shop: support Sofftpunk directly by purchasing prints of their work, available alongside a range of pride stickers, pins and more!
ABOUT THE ARTIST & EXHIBITION:
Queertrans artist of colour Hash (they/he) has spent the past 7 years exploring the intersection between art, community and political action through their art and community work. This exhibition features a selection of their traditional and abstract original paintings, all exploring the theme of the human spirit over and over again from a variety of angles. Exhibition ends April 11th.
